Rename tracks, more file types, and steadier playback
v1.4.0Rename tracks, play M4A/AAC files (even ones saved as .mp3), and enjoy a timeline that stays locked to playback — the view now scrolls under a centred playhead and stops on its own at the end of the track.
Added
- Rename a track — double-click it in the sidebar, or right-click and choose Rename
- Play M4A/AAC audio, including files saved with a .mp3 extension
- Playback now stops automatically when it reaches the end of the last stem
Improved
- Playhead follow scrolls the timeline continuously with the playhead held in the centre, instead of jumping a page at a time
- The Markers list pins the current marker to the top as playback moves through it, keeping the upcoming markers in view
- Zoomed all the way out, the whole track fits the view and stays fitted as you resize the window
Fixed
- Waveforms and the playhead now line up for files whose sample rate differs from your output device (for example 44.1 kHz files on a 48 kHz device) — the playhead no longer runs past the end of the track and behind the markers panel
